    A popular location shoot in Shipley West Yorkshire of the last three remaining mill chimneys. Not in use of course. Shipley1.jpg

    Reminds me of standing on a hill overlooking Oldham and failing to count the mill chimneys - there were too many. And much taller than these, they were for the cotton mills.
    Nearly all gone now I believe.

    Yes, that's right. we had a similar thing here in Shipley. I believe I saw some vintage footage somewhere of Oldham and how you have described it. It may have been on YouTube I think.
