    It's lovely but my eye is concentrated on the arch and light water beyond. If I put my finger over it, I can appreciate the lovely tones of the rest of the image.
    I'd be sorely tempted to darken that patch to a point that it is no longer a focus of immediate attention.

    I agree. I think I'd try a radial filter centred on the top of the bridge and up to the overhanging branches and bring the highlights within down

    Agree entirely. Can yo recover anything from raw to fill the loss of detail? Otherwise a bit from this side of the bridge.

    I'm with the others, the bright light through the arch is going to be the only thing the judge sees...
