Long Evening Shadows

    Going home from an afternoon walk, late in Autumn, in the hills above Cardiff Bay - the low sun highlights my companions in the distance.

    Brings back pleasant memories but does it stand alone as an image?

    Lovely. Works as a square too with right side off. That tree holds it.

    Works for me. On a nit picking not there does seem to be a bit of a halo where the trees border the bright sky - could be worth toning them down a bit.

    Have a look at the full size image - I can't see any halo, but then again, I'm not wearing my glasses :)

    No halo on my screen, or I've got the wrong glasses on.

    I always do...

    It's a less than the small version which isn't much itself but where the bright sky blends into the surrounding foliage it seems to be brighter - I guess it may be one of those optical effects cused by contrast differences between the sky and the much darker foliage.

    Nice, but defo haloing for me both large and small. Either from burning or HDR
