I print honey labels with photographs of bees on them. At present, I am printing sheets of labels on an inkjet (Epson 1500W) and spraying the labels afterwards with fixative but this doesn't really waterproof them properly. (They need to be waterproof for the regulations.) I cannot get waterproof labels for the inkjet. Or in fact, I have tried some but they print really poorly and the ink still runs. What I think I need is a laser printer (not large runs) that prints decent photos onto A4 sheets of waterproof labels, without the toner running if it gets damp, and also prints close to the edge of the media. Has anyone got experience of this? Any ideas or suggestions?
