Tell me about it...
And if it's not D800's it's Canon 5Ds and L-glass...
Or Pentax Q's/Q7's and the O6 lens, when it (mine) isn't getting thrashed (by me) .
I'm also impressed by the A12 50mm GXR APS-C module. A prime lens on a good sensor and great control of noise. I really longed for the 28mm module, but they have all gone. There are a couple on E-Bay or Amazon, but they as s/h and in Japan. The import duty and shipping costs make them uneconomic.
I'm considering the Voigtlander M 25mm f/4 for use on the A12 Mount, which I know is magic especially as this unit has no AA filter. The lens can be found in good condition for about £200. Manual focus, but at f/8 everything from 1.2M to infinity is in focus. Also, it is so small and light, but brilliant build quality.
It may give the D800 brigade some competition! Ha.
