    So what are you reading and is it any good? I've hit a dry spot on free kindle books lately - not enjoying anything enough to go beyond the first few pages.

    I recommend
    Joy Ellis The Fens series for light reading.
    Petra Durst-Benning and her Century trilogy series
    Yrsa Sigurdardottir the Thora Gudmundsdottir series
    Ann Swinfen The Bookseller's Tale
    Maj Sjowall The Man who went up in smoke
    Jonas Jonasson The Girl who saved the king of Sweden

    Just for starters!

    Thank you Kate! I did enjoy The Girl Who Saved The King And I have read all of the Martin Beck series already but I will definitely investigate the others!
