Has anyone used this flash gun?
Just wanting some feedback about this item, what are the pros and cons?

I assume you've read the DooYoo review?

All my flash guns are Canon, and I find that some +ve exposure compensation helps - around +1/3 to +2/3stop.

Probably worth checking out N K Guy's web pages.

There was a thread on these guns in the Nikon (dare I say :)) forum a while ago, their reputation does not seem to be very good. Really, it is worth paying out for a Canon flash, which will be certain to work properly.

I bought the Sony/Minolta version about a year ago (there's thread somewhere) I remain very impressed with it - especially as with offer and voucher it only cost me about 30 quid. :)

It does exactly what it says on the box and seems to be capable of all the modes, including wireless, of the Sony guns (I assume similar to Canon). It's not hugely powerful but good enough for my moderate needs.
