It was shot early on a Sunday morning outside the Apex music venue in Bury St Edmunds. They leave the furniture out overnight so I guess some young uns took advantage of the free seating for a quiet drink after closing time.
Well the theory is not bad. Selective focus, especially back from the front edge is a real fashion in food, but maybe needs a stronger point to focus on.
I think he meant getting too close to spitting fat with a camera.
