Image Resizer hassle

Iv'e just started using (64bit) Win7, and want an Image resizer; searching the web I keep on seeing the Image Resizer produced by the CodePlex community being highly recommended, ( http://imageresizer.codeplex.com/releases/view/82827) but I'm darned if I can get it to run or even find the .prg file it's supposed to use, and it's not as some say, accessible by right-clicking the Start button, or the drop-down menu on an image I want to resize.

It's driving me nuts! What do others use, and has anyone found one that also allows you to also set the level of compression in Bytes? Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I'm darned if I know what!

The one in my signature will allow you to change the Kb before you save. See my tutorial below.

There's also this free app if you don't want to do it in something like Photoshop:-

I 've used it in the past and it was pretty painless!

Thanks for the link Chris, I've just been trying that out, and it does pretty well all I want/need. I know I could use one of many resizers built into bigger apps such as Photoshop, but that would mean having to load it up, which seems to me to be a bit like using a sledge-hammer to crack a walnut!
