    Re: Freebie?

A not unreasonable supposition, but no, there just wasn't one with my copy for some reason. I'm over it, though. ;)

As you are a subscriber I would advise contacting the editorial office, details in my signature, we can then investigate why, and get one sent out :)

For any shop bought copies I would advise the same, unless there is a hole in the packaging. ;)

In which case I would suggest taking the matter up with retailer in the first instance :)

    Re: Freebie?

are the items being distributed randomly?
I ask because in the three shops I've been in only Mr Plod's is available.
Or is it just a fear of security guards...

    Re: Freebie?

AFAIK they should be being (roughly) distributed evenly. 50/50 - police/private security. If anyone should find that this is not the case please send me a PM with (general) details of your location.

    Re: Freebie?

So far I've only seen blue ones in Tesco and WH Smiths in Mansfield, but I'll have a better look round tomorrow night and pop by Asda.
Considering Tesco security guards enjoy a certain reputation, I wonder if it's a coincidence.......

My local Co-op sold me one of each. Now, all I have to do is decide which "defence" will be better for my expedition.

    Hi Mark,

What issue (date wise) is this in? I can scour the shops of Vancouver to see if
I can find it or, at least, get the shop to contact me when it arrives:)

    Cheers,

    Jack

    Evening Jack :)

This one*. You can't miss it. It has my name plastered all over it!

Although as it says on the tin 'UK copies only'. In spite of it being the product of a number of meetings which AP have held with HM's Home Office over the years I do wonder - rights wise - what benefit it may be when confronted by a member of the RCMP :p.

*On sale in the UK until Tuesday 5th June

    Re: Freebie?

I got the yellow one and have tried nearly all of the big newsagents here in Glasgow like WH Smiths and supermarkets for the blue can AP please tell me if the blue cloth was made available or was more of the yellow produced than the blue?

    Thanks

They were produced and should have been distributed in equal numbers :)

It could be worse. BTW I've already advised Fen (i've got a yellow one) to lay off of the Wotsits.

So true but don't leave your grey card in the sun for long or let it get grubby! ;):D

And also never, ever buy grey cards from two different makers and look at them together in the same light!:confused::(
