Free photo rights lens cloth

A couple of years ago AP gave away a cleaning cloth that doubled as an 18% grey card.

Given the dearth of grey cards in local photo outlets and the cost of super ones on-line that won't fit in the bag, it would be good if AP distributed another cloth/grey card. Should not be too expensive to produce and easy to pack/distribute.

    What do you think?

Yes, that's one of the more useful freebies, and another one will be handy. A couple of times I've gone to use mine, then realised it was in the other camera bag. There's a few of the freebies we've had over the last few years (the lenswrap was another) that I wouldn't mind seeiing repeated every 2-3 years, if AP are short of ideas...

    Re: Freebie?

I think a cleaning cloth needs cleaning itself occasionally ... an action which is going to alter its hue and shade. There's very little point in deploying an "18% grey card" that isn't accurate.

Thanks.... local Jessops did not have any grey cards (nor the other specialist shop in town): I tried to make one but it wasn't much good!. Looks like a trip to Amazon or maybe AP will come up with something.

Not one but two offerings would appear to be upcoming, a case of serendipity.

The thing that I use the most is the fold up reflector that AP gave away some time ago.

I still use mine but it's getting pretty shabby by now.

Oh, please let it be a free D800, or better still D4. :D Actually, that would probably be the week I forget to buy a copy. :p
