Jess has been here since 2012, and seems to introduce herself (and do not much else) every few years, each time including a link to her work. I'm not sure she's here to chat. Of course, she could prove me entirely wrong ...

I'm always suspicious of posts that appear to only exist to promote Facebook links.
    Are the links genuine?

Yes, the links are genuine and link to her work.

This is her saying hi in 2017.

This is her saying hi, in erm, 2017.

    And 2012.

So I may be wrong, and she may be here to chat, but she's never responded to anything that I can see. Maybe I'm just in a mean mood, but looks more like she's here to keep the search engine hits up for 'female, hong kong, photographer'

It is a tough time to be a citizen of Hong Kong. Facebook not allowed on my computers - horribly intrusive thing.

Perhaps the Forum needs rules about 'members' who abuse it like this.
If no response to other member's posts within a month, assume abuse?

What harm does it do? It takes a couple of seconds of my life to read the post and I'm a grown up now (stop sniggering), so can make my own decisions on whether to click on a link or not. At least she provides links to some photographs, which is more than some of the active posters do.

You can't police it, because you must cater for the users who want to mostly read, which I've got no problem with. I was just making other people aware. What caught me out was how she was able to post links in the first place, which aroused my suspicion, and which is why I went to check her posting history.

No real harm, if the site was busy, it wouldn't even register on the radar.
