Christmas black hole?
Or a wreath were the rabbits have eaten all the foliage?
I'd pay good money to watch a swarm of hungry rabbits leaping into the air and grabbing bites of foliage from a wreath tied to somebody's door knocker.
..but then I'm easily entertained.
Just another phone snapshot, but it's definitely the season.
Cheerful Chappie grabbed from the bus today...
A bit late for constructing a christmas cake isn't it?
Yup, luckily, I'm making Stollen (which you can still make in advance, but it doesn't need to mature as much as a Christmas cake would traditionally).
I love stollen. I got some apple stollen to try this year from Lidl. Not particularly nice, much prefer the marzipan one.
I don't bake much, and I almost never make any kind of bread with yeast, so this is outside of my comfort zone. It does have a rope of marzipan through it though - I just hope it's actually baked and not still raw dough inside.
Good grief - I read that as "I don't bathe much"!!!!! It might be time for a visit to the opticians!
...for a desperate attempt at cheering up what passes for our garden with some lights.
There's a stall on the local Christmas Market selling stollen with all sorts of additions: rosemary, a nuts mixture etc.
My wife's gone OTT again - Aaargh!
You are in Germany aren't you? I dare say it's better than the stuff Lidl flog (albeit I accept it is probably from Germany) The apple one from Lidl tastes very synthetic. Rosemary one sounds quite nice.
We used to have that mirror, and an almost identical light fitting too. Sorry, I'm eternally nosy when it comes to other people's houses. One of my hobbies is looking at houses for sale on Rightmove. The estate agent was a bit taken aback when I was able to tell him the prices/values of homes in nearly every street he suggested we look at, and how long some of the properties had been on the market, adn when they'd been reduced or removed and returned. I don't think he had any idea of the depth of my obsession!
Hey, I'll have you know that mirror was very expensive: £12.20 at a local auction - and that included Buyer's Premium.
And if I guess that 'Homes under the Hammer' is your favourite TV watching, would I be far wrong
... books and balloons?
For reindeer ladies. Getting my wife to stand in an inappropriate place.

That moose must have been going at a heck of a lick when it hit the wall behind her!
Nigel, now you can rightly claim to have a "trophy wife"
