I expected to agonise over this for hours, but it came to me in a flash. I wanted a theme that could be interpreted in many ways, so we got a diverse selection of images and there'd be something for anyone's preference. So in keeping with the time of year the December theme will be "Tis the Season..." . I reckon there's scope for fabulous festivities, gritty social commentary, stunning landscapes, gaudy abstracts and much, much more.

Over to you and I look forward to having a tough choice to make on NYE.

(Mods, could you move this to the relevant section please)

Christmas Market time at this time of year, here's a picture that has so little context you'd never know ;)

Now that we live on Helensburgh's seafront we get the Christmas lights right outside our windows

Luckily, Mr Geren knew where we'd 'hidden' the advent calendar during the house move. Otherwise there might have been wailing teenagers!

I went on one of those on the Southbank in London. It was bloody horrible. Not long after we went on it I saw in the press that it broke down and folk had to be rescued from it.

Edit. In fact here it is
