Dan Marbaix` abandoned buildings

    Have a look at this website featuring some amazing photos of abandoned buildings from a wide range of locations.

    Mr Marbaix has been arrested many times but still seeks out these fascinating buildings.Some have a rather unsettling fell about them.

    It reminds me of Benito Mussolini`s abandoned villa on the island of Rhodes.

    Wow, some of those places are beautiful.

    I'd love to explore more of these types of places. When I do I'll start by trying to track down the owners to ask for permission - some of them are sure to say yes.

    It is easier to get access in many foreign countries - I was in Georgia for a month recently and wondered around a small abandoned theatre and cable car station. There were loads of places by the roadside but as I was using public transport I couldn't just hop off in the middle of nowhere.
