    I completely agree but sadly this will only affect the poor, overworked clerks in that office, the real cretins that agreed this pathetic "law"/ordnance are the ones who sit on the committees and have nothing better to do with their time ( which we pay for! ) than bother the people they supposedly represent.

    Better to bug your MP and the local MP for Merthyr so they will start asking why the local council for Merthyr are wasting time and money on such a stupid idea.

    ......so access will be controlled and all camera phones will be confiscated and returned when their owners leave the event? I'd love to be there......!

    Might be better in the long road not to bother going to Merthyr in the first place. It's not very photogenic - honest !! ;)
