I would like to present my holiday photographs on a computer screen in a series of collages of say 6 to 7 photos. Can anyone recommend a simple, no frills computer program to enable me to do just that.

I had a look at the manual for paint shop pro which my wife uses

    Combine photos to
    create a photo collage
Open the photos that you want to combine and decide which image to use as your base image. Copy the other images into the base image by
clicking an image, choosing Edit  Copy, clickingthe base image, and choosing Edit  Paste As
New Layer. Position each layer with the Move
Use the opacity setting and blend mode to
control how much of each layer shows through. Use a mask layer to hide parts of a layer or to
    create soft edges around it.

I would expect you can do this in photoshop elements too.
