Like the Brexiteers, who spent forty years moaning and fighting against EU membership?
Quite right. If I get my way it's natural justice. If you get your way it's an outrage. Democracy really is something that happens to other people.
And who now think that an extremely close run referendum which goes their way is the be-all and end-all and no-one has the right to challenge it.
Blame Cameron for that - he set it up as a simple 'first past the post' vote rather opting for a 2/3rds majority or 60/40 split...
Not that that would have made any difference of course; whoever lost would still be whining and moaning about it. As Andrew says, 'Democracy applies to other people'...
