Some time ago we had a thread about bread makers. I was one of the few who used mine a lot. We have always been happy with the bread it produced. Recently, in Costco, I saw a 16kg bag of 'very strong Canadian Bread Flour'. It was cheaper than buying in smaller lots from the supermarket and I thought it would be convenient to have in a stock as we use quite a lot. To our surprise the change of flour has transformed our bread for the better. We were happy before but now we are delighted. The loaf is bigger and lighter. The crumb is excellent and (to my Grandsons' delight) it toasts wonderfully. We are extremely happy. The point of this post is to recommend this flour to anyone who uses Costco and a breadmaker!!! MickLL PS And because I'm fed up with Brexit.
