You can't "attach" files to forum posts. Instead you make a link to where ever on the t'internet your picture is.

People use Flickr, photobox, their own webs sites and blogs etc.

I think there is a sticky in the Appraisal Gallery explaining how to do this.

You don't post attachments they are link to image to hosted files.

    Read this:

    http://www.amateurphotographer.co.u...57-HOW-TO-POST-IMAGES-amp-LINKS-Free-programs

Use Photobucket just for on here. Helps keep track of what I have posted in the past as well.

You can use the file in other thread by just creating a new link. You don't need to upload the image again.

You can also use the image files in other forums if you wish.

    Hope this helps.

By the way you should have posted in the Help Team really but you new so it is understandable.

PS: if you do a "reply with quote" in the Appraisal Gallery of a image thread you will see how it works because you will see the link code.

Not as such. But you can check your link is working using the "preview post" button.

But you must only post images of 800 pixels and 200KB. I would suggest you use 720 pixels to avoid the scroll bar.

You can also post just links to full res images.

But in Appriasal Gallery the members prefer the images links to help them give opinion on the shot(s)

    Hope this helps. :)
