I am really finding this one difficult. Haven't decided on what kind of photo let alone shortlisted.

    Last push this week

I picked one at random. My choices have all been *&^%$ so far! lol

I don't believe it! I've entered the wrong photo. I had two versions of the same photo. One which I had spent ages making sure everything was just as I wanted and the other which was before any changes. I submitted the second one! That's my chance gone this month :( I guess that will teach me not to leave it until the last minute.

Here's the photo I was supposed to enter -

Hope the other one was also b&w - you'll still be in with a good chance then! lol

Thanks very much Catriona. Yes, the other was B&W also but it had less contrast and there were a few distractions.

Great choice Adrian. They both look brilliant but my favourite is the second. Best of luck.

Jackhood - I think I've just seen your photo printed in this week's issue of AP (page 51) - It looks great!

    Congratulations

    Thanks Adrian,

To be honest I looked at it and thought the same thing! I couldn't believe I came 3rd, then I looked again and realised I'd come 2nd. :)

Congrats to you also for coming in the top 10!! I see your also in 4th place overall!

Yeah, I'm regretting only having entered 3 of the 5 so far, especially missing the macro one as I had a good shot ready but got confused with the dates :-( I put it in for the monthly forum competition instead

As many people post on the AP forum under assumed names- Congrats to Ian J Turner and Adrian Sadlier and anyone else whose name I didn't recognise

    Thanks. :)

Really pleased to get 27th. Never even made the top 50 before. What with that and scooping the April forum competition, I'm thinking I should buy a lottery ticket whilst me luck's in! Some stunning images this month Congrats to the winners.

Echo the congrats to Ian, Jack and the 'coming up on the rails' Adrian (shall I stick a fiver on you, Adrian?).
It is a real buzz when you see your pic in the mag.

Some superb shots this month - really enjoyed them.
Jack's (2nd place) would have occupied top spot for me and you can see why it made the cover. Great stuff.
