Me too please
David, Simon and Richard - No problem.
I'll check back later or tomorrow morning to see if anybody else is interested.
Think I might take a compact so I can whip it out for a quick exposure. That wouldn't get chance to get too wet
Anyway, I think we're being pessimistic, the weather boys and girls have been known to get things wrong, it's going to be a glorious day
I beg your pardon??????
Unless the forecast improves dramatically it looks as though myself and guest may be non starters, rain is not my favourite weather, especially since a recent bout of pneumonia.
Look forward to next time and better weather
Sorry to hear that Mike but I understand. Thanks for letting me/us know. Hopefully we'll see you next time with better weather.
Well, I suppose we could all bring black and white film and loiter outside the railway station to wait for the moment when someone strides into a very large puddle
I'm afraid I'm going to have to drop out. I've been fighting man-flu for most of this week and hoped I'd be over it by the weekend but, instead of getting better, it's turned into full-on lurgy. :-(
That's a shame Mike and John, I was looking forward to meeting you both. The forecast is looking slightly better than it was for Saturday but it will still be cold and wet. Not ideal conditions if you're not feeling great, get well soon.
11 green bottles standing on the wall........
Sorry to hear that John, we all hope you are over it before the Christmas merryment begins.
^What he said^
Hope you get better soon, John.
Still enough to strike fear into the heart of any Wharf Security type or PCSO!!
According to the BBC, right now it is supposed to be raining outside in East London. All I see looking out of the window is sunshine, blue skies and fluffy clouds.
Let's hope it holds up for tomorrow
Same here in Elstead (Godalming, Guildford, Surrey....)
Not long lived, I'm afraid. Now full cloud cover with light spitting rain.
I have just seen the weather forcast for tomorrow on the one o'clock news. It looks like 15 mph winds, cold with rain tomorrow.
Ah well, there is always food and drink to think about and photgraphing the inside of famous pubs! I'm sure its going to be fun regardless.
Probably not worth taking a brolly, it will be reversed as soon as opened!!
Well, I've just packed my kit for tomorrow and my light meter has packed up and one of the lens hoods won't stay on the lens. That's a good start.
It may be so dark, you wont need a light meter, or a hood!!
Thanks for the reminder, I'll pack mine.
Wots wanna them?
