Love those, really enjoyable. I'm going to make myself get to the coast during Autumn and Winter.

    Ah, the turkey's arse!

It doesn't make too bad a job of looking like Kodachrome, does it? Not sure about the first one, but the red in the fourth pic is lovely.

Turkey's arse! is that what they call it, patience is needed to get a photo without little herberts crawling all over it, it looks best in the evening I think (when they have all buggered off home for tea)
i'm no expert but i'm pleased with the colours as they are jpegs straight out of the camera, other than the frame applied in photoshop, I found a tutorial on you tube on how to set it up

It is indeed what the locals call it - it's by no means universally popular round there!

I guess the same could be said about the rotting old fishing boats left on the beach but the locals would say that was "character" but if it brings the tourists money in then it can only be a good thing

I agree, lovely photos, I especially like the 4th one.
I haven't been to Aldeburgh since the (Turkeys Arse) arrived. I keep meaning to go back up that way, I feel another trip coming on, maybe do Southwold as well.

I love the house in the clouds too!

thanks, gutted I didn't get there half an hour before, I would have got the boat in the distance closer to where I would have preferred it
