In terrorist attack, according to the Guardian.

Not a thing about it on the BBC website. What did the Beeb have as headlines? One dead in Ireland, one dead comedian, something about racing drivers and why the sun has turned colour. Far more important stuff, that

But then, it's only in Somalia.

Bit like the storm in US as opposed to the one in Asia.

That'll do, but where was it on the main headline site? If it was, it disappeared bloody quick, obviously far more important things happening elsewhere.
This is what I've been seeing: https://www.bbc.co.uk/ since about 13:eek:o

I remember seeing it yesterday, or perhaps even on Saturday.

Depends on how your homepage is customised these days, I think.

It was on the news last night with an on-the-spot report.

    Fair enough, all.

But I still think it would be headline news for days if it had happened elsewhere.

I'm not familiar with the specifics of this particular news item, or how it has/hasn't been covered, but I completely agree with the principle of what you're saying, Steve.
I've noticed this kind of thing all too often.

Unfortunately it's the modern equivalent of "fog in Channel - Continent isolated". :(

My son has been in New York for the last five days. He says there's been very little on their television news concerning the wildfire's in California.
