Does my sensor need cleaning?
      20/07/2008 16:04

Im just wondering what to do to fix this:

My shots all have a single dot in the picture (like blurred dirt) its tiny-ish but really annoying. Its in the centre of the frame so everything I shoot has it... but heres the thing, when I shoot a faster aperature its not there, any time its a longer exposure on anything above f2.8 its there?

So fast shutters dont show it? Is this a sensor thing or a mirror thing? I tried two lenses but they are the same.

The camera is a nikon d2x for reference. If it does need fixed where (if anywhere) can I have it done in Belfast?

thanks!

Chris
