Compact with Viewfinder

Hi

I am after a compact camera for my girlfiends Birthday (end of the month). Only thing if that we are really after a viewfinder (present camera doesn't have one and very annoying in bright sun)

Had had a quick look and most of the ones that get good reviews don't appear to have viewfinders.

Currently looking at Sony DSC-170 but not sure if this would be a good choice.

Any help would be appreciated.
