That's 300 pixels per inch so unless your images are just 2"x2" your image is much bigger than 600x600 pixels. An image that is 600x600 would be really quite small - sort of size you get on ebay. An A4 300ppi image is 2480 pixels by 3508 pixels for instance - quite a bit more than 600x600.
