Just wondering whether others here make much use of Canon's Picture Styles. I've now downloaded the Picture Style Editor (quite a large download - bloated code or all necessary?), and slowly considering where next... So far, using mainly jpeg, the only change I've made is to reduce the Sharpness setting to the in-camera Standard Picture Style. I mainly shoot birds, things and places and don't do weddings. I use Breezebrowser for processing RAW to tiff etc. and PS6 for the limited post-processing I find necessary. I suppose I ought to put camera on tripod and shoot identical scenes with a variety of Canon's Picture Styles, plus some more where I've altered the parameters. Would I be correct in assuming that one can invent new Picture Styles using their editor, and upload them to the camera? (via the USB link, I assume, if any.)
