anywho,
- with the SB600 can i use the on board flash on my D80 to fire the SB600 off camera\wirelessly?
- does the sb600 have a strobe setting? (ive read contradictory articles on the web)
- any good reccomendations for a diffuser? lightsphere, whailetail sto-fen etc?
- is it possible to get a tripod head for a flash gun that will also allow me to add a softbox or umbrella to fire the flash through? ive found the MANFROTTO MN143S which does the hot shoe to tripod part just i cant seem to find anything that will do both in the UK. this is avilable in the states http://www.adorama.com/PFSC.html but has to be used with a light stand.

1.) Yes, providing the D80 has CLS (Which I think it does)the sb600 can be used as a slave (it cannot fire off strobes itself)
2.)Everywhere Ive looked says no, I have a sb800 so wouldnt be sure
3.)That depends on what your trying to achieve really
4.)Not sure about tripod heads, but you can get lightstand ones. just googled though and it came up with this
