History Recorder in PS?
      13/05/2008 13:03

I am fairly sure this question has been asked before, but is there anyway that the history or the list of actions taken can be recorded in PS?

I worked on an image the other night for about an hour and after experimenting with different blending modes and layer overlays and a whole load of other stuff and tweaks etc, the resulting image looks rather good, but can I heck remember how I did it. I know an action would record everything you are doing, but if you are only experimenting and do not know if the outcome is going to be any good, it seems an overcomplicated way to record everything when you might only wish to isolate the successful parts of the operation. I suppose a pencil and paper might do the job, but surely someone has invented or created a way to do this in a better way than pencil and paper? Any ideas?

Any help appreciated.

thanks - 9pins
