Hmm... maybe I should order some XP2, and a coloured filter or 2.
I tend to get out with my cameras whenever I get the chance and the weather's not too unreasonable - which basically means I don't tend to go out when it's chucking it down with rain (partly 'coz my cameras aren't weather sealed, but mainly 'coz I don't like it ). Sun, cloud, showers, snow (not that there's been much down here in the SouthWest the last year or two), mist, frost - all can be good.
What I like most about winter is I don't have to get up so early for the sunrise. Other good things are that the light tends to be softer through more of the day and frost / snow / mist can be interesting.
