Lisa, I did exactly what you have suggested i.e. took a cloudy daylight image with the tungsten per-set. It was a struggle to get the jpeg balance correct using the picker in levels, however,when using the RAW format, it was a simple excercise. Funnily enough my tutor preferred the tungsten image as it had nore drama and atmosphere! I sent off mod 9 recently so I am now considereing my topic for the portfolio. I live surrounded by unspoiled woods and countryside overlooking the Black Mountains in Wales, I have a reputation for avoiding easy options so I will probably end up selecting something like "Inner City Landscapes"!
