(Realy anoyed me that the £40 release for my EOS 30 doesn't work with my
D20 )


What is it with Canon and their multiplicity of remote release systems? For donkeys years we got by with a simple screw-in cable release. Now we have to have these electronic jobbies.

This wouldn't be so bad if they had at least settled on ONE type but no; they have to have 3 or 4 different ones, not counting those cameras which don't even have remote release sockets.

This couldn't have anything to do with making you buy another release at £40 a time if you change model............could it?..............
