I'm sure I won't trouble the scorers, but I'm keeping true to my promise to myself to at least have a go in each round!

Feeling great! Def. a strange year - working hard to get school 'Ofsted ready', back in the gym and on the roads (London 10k in July) and going to enter at least one photo comp per month.

Yes, I only got one confirmation as well.

Now I'm wondering what happened to my first entry re water in the landscape, because when I look at my sent email, I can't see the declaration of poverty! OK, I can't see my declaration of earnings (minimal), but I guess that will only be a problem if I get anywhere with the picture.

Feeling grat too, having reconfirmed my love of alcohol.

Im lasting longer and staying stronger - at least my wife says so.

I've entered both rounds thus far with no great hopes but with plenty of chutzpah.

Hello,

My entry to round two is failed with an err "recipient's mailbox is full and can't accept messages now". Is this normal ? I have tried to send the entry thrice (different time of day) but got the same message.

No it is not normal. I do know that the Blue Fin Building experienced a transformer, power failure last week and that remedial work was scheduled for this weekend. I assume that the script that moves entries has failed to reset itself after any power shutdown. I will investigate tomorrow

I've left this until the last minute to enter and need to check a technical detail... the image needs to be between 2700 and 3000 pixels on the longest edge but does it matter at what resolution? I entered round one successfully but can't remember what I did!

Something reasonable one would imagine. 72 min? Anyway, submitted round 2. Bring on round 3.

As long as the image contains the number of pixels quoted the resolution is not relevant.

well even though my subject was late turning up we still managed to to get some great pics, and after taking quite a few and downloading them i realised that the photo i liked was the third photo i actually shot and liked. dont figure.but all sorted and sent with 2 hours to deadline.
