Must say I think it's the best supplement yet - I've already found a few gems, and in other areas, it's reassured me I'm doing things the best way.![]()
Me too!
After all, taking the pic is only half the job. The other half is in the processing![]()

It should be useful for those starting out on the Photoshop journey.
Even for experienced users it has some stuff not often used and perhaps more easily forgotten.
The problem with Photoshop for beginners, is that it is more of an interconnected process rather than a set of individual pick and chose procedures.
It is better to learn it as full routines leading to a final result, rather than piecemeal.
If you work with routines you can leave things out when they are not needed, but you are unlikely to forget things.

I think the title of the supplement is inaccurate, it should be 1010 Photoshop Image editing tips! Yes I know it mentions Lightroom as well but as one who doesn't use Photoshop or Lightroom huge amounts of it aren't for me.
I am not saying it isn't good, simply pointing out that "Other image editing software is available".
Still looking for my copy. The mag arrived late, but no supplement. Are we talking about the 11th Sept edition?
Yes it is.Had mine in WHS Tuesday.

It was a fun supplement to compile, and hopefully you will all find it useful.
Where possible we tried to make the tips generic, but our last reader survey shows that around 80% of readers use Photoshop, Elements or Lightroom, so obviously we used this software in most of the examples.
Please feel free to send me a PM with any other tips, tricks, ideas or software you would like us to feature in future software supplements or how to features.
