Backgrounds - made for the job or alternatives

    Hi
I have never used 'backgrounds', but would like to get an image of all my dogs with a white background.
What is the most cost effective way of doing this....can I just use a white sheet? What are the advantages of the backgrounds you can buy?
    Thanks

If that's all you need it for, get a decent quality superking sheet, should cost around £20-30 (yes I know you can spend more but not for this!)

The proper backgrounds are denser, so don't allow so much light leak, and are often sprung, so they are taught.

But unless you want it for other purposes, it will just be a waste of money - at least you can use a sheet as a sheet
The worst battle cry I ever heard - "Look out! He's got a bigger camera!"
