Some things are relevant, some aren't...just rejoice in the fact that at least you seem to have the choice to decide which is which.

Well done to all the winners. The recent rounds have certainly resulted in a raising of the standards.

The winners were several of the entries that I really liked. I enjoyed looking at all the entries and the square format got my brain cells trudging round a bit. Thanks everyone and congratulations to the winners !Lisa.

Wow!! I'm stunned and shocked I had my money on webbian's shot.
I'll spoil some of the mystery now - it's my little niece Darcey stood in the garden of a château we holidayed in earlier this year. Her proud mum is just out of shot, as this was very soon after her first steps.
Shot square on my new (to me) Bronica SQ-Ai on Fuji Superia X-Tra 400 with almost no messing in photoshop.
what a great series of images. congrats to the winners and those shortlisted !
A very well done to all.
Excellent images once again and it's great that Damien is being given a tough time of it - just proves that he's having to divide a strong entry.
oh wow! chuffed - 3rd - with so many brilliant images for July's comp I didn't rate my chances, wow wow wow!
thanks AP and congrats to the shortlisters and winners
Edit: yes it was cropped for compo. I was going to shoot some rather pale bluebells against dark green foliage when the spider plopped out of one. It dangled very briefly, the thread is so fine as to be almost invisible but it is there. Those few seconds gave me enough time to focus on the spider instead.
Many thanks Damien for my special mention and congratulations to everybody.
I also should thank the two great-nieces who were the models. The eldest is just 7, speaks three languages and is gorgeous with it![]()

I've pretty much forgotten about competitions over the last couple of months. I really must get back into it.
