    hovers again (3)

last of my hovers I think I've now got hover overload The long beaked rhingia type is surprisingly difficult to get in complete focus, the beak confuses my camera (or me!) Then the only hover I managed to get in flight without being too fuzzy, all 4 primary colours there! The third is a bog standard hover shot

I like them and I presume you do too.
I've been wandering in and out trying to get some this morning but they all seem to have disappeared..

They're really good. The flying one is very good and close considering how difficult that is to do! I've a few others remaining to post. Then we can move onto Autumn things. Lol

I like the first image. The strong colours that are offset by the simple out focus green behind. Plus the detail on the flower and fly. Especially the light reflection on the lower body of the fly.

thanks all for looking and commenting - justdave the lens is a Nikon 60mm macro lens, I'm so jealous you're getting a 105mm macro, you'll have much more working space between you and the critters
