he's not a proper tog coz he's looking at the screen on the back and not through the viewfinder...how the hell does he expect to compose proper photographs.
No doubt he's some flyboy journo doing an honest tog out of a job.

Optical viewfinders are over-rated in eye-busting sunlight. Give me a screen, a squint and some crossed fingers any day.

Still managed to get some reasonable shots though. Who can identify the lens and camera (Facebook freaks may not apply)? I'll post a link to the gallery later.

I think a better question would be: Just how long are your legs?

there you are lying on the floor in the middle of the photo, but your foot is at least 7-8ft away to the left!

That is a really REALLY bad pun

I guess the next comment would be something like; Mines 12" but I don't use it as a rule!

I think the lens and camera that your friend is carrying is a PEN E-PL1 with the kit lens.

Not enough information to identify the one you are carrying - from the way you are holding it it might be another mFT. The lens is close to the Oly 50mm in looks but I doubt that thats fast enough focussing for street photography

Clearly from this photo we can see that you've got a huge telephoto (I think it's got something to do with the way he's kneeling or maybe it's just the cut of his trousers?)............but enough of that and back to the original question............nope, i've no idea what kind of camera or lens it is!

Given the size of the lens I'd wager that it's one of the Sony/Samsung MIL cameras with some kind of lens on it.

Aye, it looks uncomfortable enough to be that wee Samsung....is the Sony deep enough for two fingers on top?

    OK, give in, you whimps.

A strange combination alright, but very nice to use all the same. The Leica NOCTILUX-M 50mm f/0.95 ASPH lens mounted on an Olympus Pen E-PL1 camera, via a Novoflex adapter. The camera costs just under £500, while the lens retails for about £6500.
