July10 comp " Shoot it square " Closed

July - "Shoot it square" - as broad as high

There’s nothing like a square to contain, restrain, restrict, reserve or display. Forget those oblong viewfinders and switch to the classic view, working with equal height and width. Of course you haven’t got a Hasselblad, but I don’t know that – go fool me with a 6x6 crop.

    Good luck!

PS. If you're new to embedding images in forums and you're having problems, don't forget you have approx. ONE HOUR to try something else - if at the end of that time you’re still having a problem, contact a moderator.

PPS. If you need help with resizing images etc, then PM a moderator with details of the image manipulation program you're using (if you have one) and they’ll get back to you a.s.a.p. Note: there are free programs you can use in the ‘Posting Images – Maximum Sizes etc’ sticky.

That's all very well but what does Ken Rockwell have to say on the matter?
