    Lonely

Saw this wee pony and thought it looked lonely and downtrodden. Have taken on board (I hope) advice given earlier and hope this is an improvement? Advice greatly appreciated, thanks.

    Nicely done...

Just did a levels adjustment and crop to see what it would look like:

The levels are better in the edit - as it doesn't seem so flat. But the framing of the original does more for me - the only thing I'd do is a tiny crop off the RHS to remove the sliver of fence post.

Good shot though! (would be nice to see one from a lower angle too)

I like the original better, yes it is a little flat but this suits the mood of the shot I think, damp and misty, its not a shot that wants to be sharp or saturated. The only thing Id say is I think a tiny little bit more space around the bottom right corner would have helped, its a little tight around the pony. Nice shot.

Thanks for the comments guys. The original was even flatter looking before I processed it, but didn't want to push the levels too far because it was a dull day and that was as close as I could get it to look like the real thing. I've been trying to get my composition better and really happy with comments about how it's composed Will try to look a bit more at it before I take the pic in future, so I haven't got subject as tight. Thanks again!!
