    Jurrasic Coast at Dawn

This image was taken in a bit of rush when unexpectedly the light changed (from what I thought was going to be a very dull day). I would welcome any comments but particularly with regard to composition.Does it work or should it make it's way to the recycle bin? Cheers

    well i like it

the composition is fine, the only thing i'm not quite sure on is your horizon, but it could just be the diagonals playing tricks on my eyes

Love it to pieces and all I would look at is maybe the crop. I like upright landscapes, but maybe this brings the action nearer the third?

I'm sure there will be ayes and nays though. Horizon is fine. Well done.
I have a feeling Charlie Waite would have taken it from a bit lower. Don't see much of him on here though....doesn't think he needs the advice I guess.

I agree with Mike. There seems to be far too much foreground but the sweeping line of the coast and delicate pastel colours are great.

A splendid image - the colours are particularly attractive. As has been said, some of the foreground could be cropped to advantage, as is shown in Mike's interpretation. I tried reducing it to a square format (cropping more foreground) It looks fine, but the headland is then perhaps a little too near the centre of the image.
    Nice picture.

Thanks for the comments chaps. I did wonder if there was a little to much of the foreground. Mike I think your crop works well and I shall probably go with that. I'm in the process of trying to get about 15 images together for a panel for the RPS and a cropped version of this will now be on the shortlist.

Love to see the rest of your A panel. Good luck!
