    Forced idleness.

For the last few days I`ve been struggling with a torn ligament in my right shoulder.Don`t ask,I was just doing something quite mundane in the kitchen when it popped.
Can`t sleep lying down, pain killers space me out and I feel it`s unwise to go out.
So here I am not knowing what to do with myself.I`ve been reading and surfing but ATM,typing is a challenge.
Doc`s referred me for Physio but that could take ages.

Nearly time for more tablets ,although it feels slightly better this morning.

    Cheers(sorry to moan)

Having suffered the same thing recently, I can recommend the following:

Ibuprofen tablets (The 8 hour slow release ones work very well) and also applying Ibuprofen cream will reduce the pain quite a bit. As for the Diaepam I don't trust it's side effects, being a substance similar to Valium. Be careful with it! Finally, I would suggest you get a TENS machine, some GPs will loan them out, but you should be able to get one from Boots etc.
