How many images did you stack?
think this one was 15 - not on the laptop at the minute which is the machine I used for it.
Had it tethered to camera on tripod (obviously) and used NKRemote (Breeze systems), software package, to focus and move focus points in liveview on the D300. There is a version for canon cameras as well.
Used CombineZM to stack - script available to auto stack.
Better than Nikons own overpriced version - Nikon capture control.
