Have you checked the windows and picasa websites?Can Canon 1D Mk 4 raw files be read by Windows raw file viewer and Picasa?

You would have to update both to the latest version and I'm sure that Picasa will but have a look at FastStone Image Viewer instead of the windows one. Why are you asking?
