    The second shot is pleasant enough, but I don't think the selective colouring works very well in the first image. Must admit I'm not a fan, and it looks like you haven't taken quite enough care with it.

    Think it would look much nicer as a straight shot.

    In the original post the first pic originally had the child's coat (and other areas) desaturated.

    Has to be said, it looks much better after Emma's edit...
