Yes I like that kind of thing. Third is not really saying anything but the first two work (take back all I said about selective colour because it seems natural here). Looks like there is a lot more there if you can move about freely and have time to interrogate.
I do like the first two and agree with Mike about the selective colour it works very well in that shot.
The third does nothing for me though.

Nice ideas. With reflections you don't always have to give the game away by including the real thing. I think you can do a lot of moody and evocative stuff with the buildings themselves.

Went back about about a week later with another two quid car boot sale Olympus XA that needed testing and found they had ruined the location by painting the buoy. I like to think somebody at the local council had seen my original picture and acted on it![]()
The absolute vandals, how dare they! There should have been a preservation order on that rust.
Someone did the same thing up at Watendlath to all the old ploughs and disc harrows that were rotting picturesquely. Not worth going there now.
I prefer the second pair - nice work.
