    XA shots. x3 <100k

Inspired by recent posts from Olympus XA users, I took my own advise and ran a roll of film through my XA. This is the second C41 I have processed in a Tetinal 1L kit, I have not got it quite right using the Epson software. I think installing silverfast that came with the scanner may be the next step.

All taken within a few yards of each other along the Thames Path.

Full marks for home developing colour film and getting some very nice results!

I like the last shot very much, it's immediately attractive, but the other two don't work as well for me.

It's easy to be wise after the event but I feel that the person is too centrally placed in the first composition, a bit further to the left and a tighter crop would have been beneficial.

I'm not keen on the second shot, the interesting triangular pattern of the three people is too understated and the bright strip on the right too much of a distraction.

Definitely bloke in wrong spot in the first. Don't be afraid of him walking out, it completes a nice diagonal if you cut off a bit of foreground. But the post will be an issue. Like the second, but third is strange and not appealing to me.

Hi Kamepa, I must be regressing, now where did I leave that Zorki?

Thanks Mike, I have just tried the crop with a bit of card, I don't have a problem leaving the bollard at the edge of frame, it is not as if there was only one bollard.

Zorki/Leica are real heavy cameras compared to that toy XA
