Hi all i am not really into photography that much so after some advice please i have had my eye on a tz7 for a while it looks great and has HD vid which i wanted i have just seen the tz8 and that seems to be the same with the great zoom and hd vid (only in one format though jpeg i think)so which is the better for me just a point and shoot man
i may need a spare battery also seen them for the tz7 fo around £15

The Panasonic TZ7 is a point and shoot with plenty of scene modes, The TZ8 has some manual controls with again plenty of scene modes. The TZ7 has now been reduced to around £210 - Google for prices.
The TZ7 is the greatest thing since slice bread (in its class) and can be highly recommended. I shoot with one. It has all one needs in a small compact design. Single shot iA intelligent mode. Burst shooting. HD video etc.
