    Loch Etive

I must be charmed, as whenever I go down Loch Etive the conditions are perfect. A couple of years ago I got one of my signature shots there - a perfect reflection in soft late afternoon light. This time it was early afternoon, and a few weeks later in the year, but due to the recent snow it was a quite different scene all along the glen, although the loch was mostly unchanged. I say mostly, as the rickety old pier in my previous picture has been replaced with a stone one, and whilst they are finishing it off access is restricted, meaning that I shot from higher up the loch this time.

Here's a wee mono picture. I'll probably post a couple of colour ones in the next few days. Enjoy.

Thanks guys. I've been pleasantly surprised with the quality available from the Coolpix.

    Inspirational!

I have a cottage booked the week before Easter, just outside Fort William, so I may follow you foot/tripod prints. Did you leave any sheep for me
